SMALL FACES
To celebrate its 60th Anniversary and for the first time ever, 'Small Faces' has been cut entirely from the IBC Studios un-EQ’d master tapes and includes an exclusive signed print from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and surviving Small Faces member, Kenney Jones:

"It's fantastic to see our debut album included in The Thousand Club series. These recordings capture the excitement of where it all began for the Small Faces. I'm delighted we'll be reaching a new generation of listeners while giving longtime fans a new listening experience with this beautiful edition cut from the original master tapes ."

Originally released on Decca Records in 1966, 'Small Faces’ stands as one of the defining albums of the British mod era. Powered by Steve Marriott's vocals, the songwriting partnership of Marriott and Ronnie Lane and driven by the drums of Jones and organ and keyboards of Ian McLagan, the album blends R&B, soul and melodic pop into a collection that helped define the sound of British rock during one of its most creative periods.

The All Analogue Cut was conducted by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios on 23 May 2026, assisted by Rob Caiger:

"Going back to the original un-EQ’d tapes, unplayed for 60 years, meant Alex had a much harder cutting process using EQ and level changes for each song, as the lathe cut the lacquer. But using the original recording source gave a noticeably better result sonically and to these ears, a more dynamic and exciting sound than on previous vinyl pressings – a true high-fidelity, full frequency range recording!"
